On 7th. And 8th. May, four teachers and six students from Shanghai Community International School (SCIS) came to our Beiyaowan Community Center to help paint the walls of the activity room and library. After two day’s hard work, the rooms took on a completely new look.
 
Both the teachers and students tried different ways of preventing the paint from peeling off quickly due to humidity. For some really old walls, they nicely offered to pay for an overhaul by professional workers, so that the second time they apply paint, it will stay on much longer.
 
The migrant children and parents love the new look of the rooms and very much appreciate their efforts.
