David BOYLE was born in Christchurch, New Zealand in 1961. He is married to a Chinese national, and they live with their son in Shanghai. He was first posted to China when working with a multi-national brewing company in 1997, and has since held senior roles in Chinese manufacturing companies, whose workforces are populated by many migrant workers. David and his wife now have a Recruitment and Management Consulting business. David has formerly served on School Boards, and a Sports Association Board in New Zealand, and is currently a Director of two Chinese Companies. He was a Professional sportsman for 12 years, and continues coaching sports to children, and other coaches, in China. He has an under-graduate degree in English and History, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Canterbury.
