Qingpu Family Day for the Scholarship students

On May 29, 2016, 22 volunteers from Ingredion traveled to the Qingpu Boke Kindergartens to hold a family day for seven migrant families and their children who receive scholarships.

I am a Little Baker

On June 4th, 2016, volunteers Laimei, Josephine, and Jennifer took 13 children from You Dao’s Qingpu center to Bella Napoli restaurant to learn how to become a baker. 

Qingpu Centre Celebrating International Children's Day Festival

In the morning of May 28th, 2016, the children in You Dao Qingpu Centre held a Children’s Day festival program with the theme “Raising Children’s Heart with Happiness”.

SMIC Student Volunteers First Weekend Activities at You Dao’s Qingpu Center

On April 30th, 2016, student volunteers Vincie, Jane, and Erin from SMIC school traveled to You Dao’s Activity Center in Qingpu to start weekend volunteering activities.
This is SMIC’s first group of volunteers to work with You Dao, and although it was the volunteers’ first time working with You Dao, all are very experienced volunteers. The volunteers organized activities based on the different ages of the children and prepared games, puzzles, songs, and other selected activities for the children. The volunteers also played a game that taught the children the English names of different animals so the children can learn about animals and practice their English speaking skills all at the same time.

Magic Dreams of the Red Nose Clown

On April 13th, 2016, Mr. Big Bear from Sweden travelled to the Qingpu Little Angel Day Care Center to perform a magic show for the children called Magic Dream of the Red Nose Clown.
